ECU update
I want to use ESys to refresh the ECU on my car, but my car is imported from Germany. I have already changed the cic language. If I update the ECU, will it be changed back to the German version?

RE: ECU update
Anwser to your questions is:yes, you would need to code DE lang once again to KOMBI and CIC.
Easy solution, that was already given to you by @rudkinp: Edit the VO/FA code to German one from the one you have currently for example replace 853(ENG) to 801(DE) and write it to car. Then whatever you do (program, code, encode) DE will be always default language. |

RE: ECU update
I get it, my language has changed for a long time, but I've been afraid to update the ECU in my car. Now I just need to update it directly, because I'm a novice and don't know much about it, and I don't dare to mess with the ECU on the car for fear of screwing it up. Thank you all for your answers.

RE: ECU update
In Esys change Vehicle Order to your language or region, and never will be changed the language when update your car software.
