Carplay won't work after ILevel update
Hello guys!
I have a G01 with NBT Evo. Some months ago I have activated Carplay with FeatureInstaller. It's been working flawlessly until a recent visit to the dealership where they updated the ILevel. Carplay stopped working and the BMW navigation would hang on Loading. I have used the latest FeatureInstaller to reactivate Carplay, but it won't start. Bmw Navi now loads, I have carplay in the menu but the connection to a phone would not go through. It gets stuck at the final step. I have tried resetting the phone, phone network settings, driver profiles, reset personal data, used 3 different iphones... nothing. I have attached fsc status, ilevel, and different messages. Any clues on this? Thank you! |

looks like wifi antenna missing, but if you used it before, then it should be present.
did you delete all bluetooth devices in car and in phone? MGU(ID7, ID8) Patching/Virginizing.

Wifi antenna is there, checked it.
I have deleted all bluetooth, wifi, carplay listings, phone list, reset driver profiles, clear private data on the car... restart nbt, phone.. nothing. I see the WiFi of the car, I can manually connect to it after trying to pair the phone, but still Carplay doesn't pop up. The phone is not the issue as it works on another car, also I have tried 3 different phones, no success. |

you need to connect via bluetooth and then Capplay will start automatically

I know the procedure but unfortunatelly it doesn’t end up with a valid connection. I have reseted eveything multiple times and tried to connect via BT.
I believe it’s something more to it.. |

Did you reset headunit after patch, or lock the vehicle for 15 mins?

Your problem appears inside the EVO host and needs to be repaired through SSH. Please don't try the useless attempt, it's PM
