Hello to all!

I have 2 pcs of E90 Diesel clusters. The original was completely dead with eeprom 35080. Seccond come from donor car and has eeprom 080DQW. 
Are those 2 eeproms changeable? In other words can I just put the 35080 eeprom to the other cluster? Is there a better way to make this swap?

Ok. That was valuable information. Did you virginize 080DQW or did you copy the dump from 35080 to it?


Here is car and dash information. I've included the both dumps also if someone could virginize them for me.

Yes. I am confused about VIN erase. Some people say that only the 7 digits of VIN is enough to Change to FF. Other says that the last 8 digits must be changed to FF. Don't know what to do know.

BMW short VIN has 7 digits. In donor dump write your short VIN

Do you have backup of old eeprom data?
Just take backup, and write to chip in new cluster, don't need to do any virgin or anything.

This method works 100%. After you copy data, just make new mileage as you want and put in car. Don't forget to make CAS also if you are lowering mileage.

Yes i have backups of both chips. Can I write 35080 data from backup directly to new 080DQW chip?
