I have downloaded the maps. I have 23000ee fec code to enable lifetime updates this shows as a valid license in my red menu. I have extracted the 3 folders to the root folder on my 64gb usb drive. This is formatted in exfat. When I go to My Audi and try to select the usb it is greyed out and says unavailable.
What am I doing wrong?

Mine is fine he clearly did something wrong like try and write a fec code before patching the firmware. You can remove the illegal fec anyway using the MIB software. Too many people on here are out to fleece other people for free to use software.

Hello, I found all about MIB software. But before I proceed I can not find an answer to this question. After I install MIB software to SD card do I also need to install patched version of my train version to that SD card to install lifetime fec code?

I am asking because my train number is not under the patched list of firmwares.

Also there is 2 videos showing how to install MIB software and update map, but in this videos there is no talking about the patching firmware. The guy just say that if you have MHI_2 or MHI_2Q you are good to go (I Have MHI_2)

Yes you need to patch your firmware so the MIB software and inject the FEC codes. If you try and install the FEC code without patching your firmware the FEC code will show as illegal as it did with the the friend of the user who posted above and will not work. The firmware that matches your exactly has to go in the MIB folder called patches.
Of course assuming there is a patched version for your firmware.
