You can code out SOS

You mean i can code out the SOS error in the cluster? But i want to know if i stil can activate AppleCarplay with a USB patch or feature installer even with the SOS module being defect ? Or is it really needed for Apple Carplay to work..

You can code out SOS fault. And if you activate CarPlay by USB or Feature Installer, you can just leave the Telematic module (ATM) defected.


The “official way” activates by ConnectedDrive need a healthy Telematics module because your car needs to connect to BMW server and get provisioning data; but in “hacked way”, no communication with server needed.

Now let's see if i found someone who can help me with providing me the USB patch to activate Apple Carplay and the FSC to update the navigation map.
