BMW E87 engine problem
Hi. My friend BMW E87 2009 116i m43 engine. Have fault codes nox sensor and 1 injector -198 reset ok. Tomorrow I will take out injectors and look codes. may before replaced and not coding correct? Before who have this car said was vanos replaced, timing chain, nox sensor. Or can be ecu damaged? When give acceleration cuts off 1 cylinder.

When give acceleration cuts off 1 cylinder. Hello for me it sounds very much like the 1st injector. Do you see something from the outside on the injector from the 1st cylinder? Oil leakage somehow greasy? happens more often with the N43 engine that the injector fails. best regards dario |

but i dont think thats only the code makes this misfires....ok wich index have the injector ?

you dont drive this car before right ? u buy it so ?first try to write the right injector code then try. The index number you can se at the picture here....

I have mixed injector’s and coding with ista. Was all not bad. After drive some km. Test again and 1 cylinder misfire. In same cylinder but with different injector. Coil and spark plug new. Can by ecu fault?
