NBT Evo Carplay disappearing
Greetings,

During the last month I met a special situation with two cars on which I've activated Carplay with FeatureInstaller. One of it lost Carplay the next day after activation, the second after three weeks.
Of course, there is the option to reactivate, but I was wondering if any of you had this situation before or perhaps found a solution for it.

EntryNav2, MGU, Evo - carplay with or without ATM, full fsc, component protection and more.
NCD 2.0 secure coding - typeschlussel (typecode) change, region change
under Press rep & thanks if I you found this useful. PM if you need more help.

RE: NBT Evo Carplay disappearing
Someone had to do something with the car. I had a car that lost carplay after map update despite of the fact that carplay and map update were made at the same time. I had to code carplay again and it worked

HDD change, Carplay, Screen mirroring activation

RE: NBT Evo Carplay disappearing
Usually this is because someone VO Codes the HU or makes some coding and thus undoes the Carplay coding.

3004 SYSTEM_EINSTELLUNGEN, 32 -> CARPLAY_SWT aktiv

There is no way for the HU to "forget" the coding, it will be some meddling by someone.

I don't know much, but if I've helped you're welcome.

RE: NBT Evo Carplay disappearing
I have checked the vehicle again and everything is OEM like FeatureInstaller has never been run. FSC 143 is unavailable. Customer did not have access or knowledge to restore unit and car has not been updated. Carplay just disappeared overnight after car sleeping and unit is OEM again.

Logic says that this is impossible. First situation like this I see in years.

Logic says that’s impossible because it is. I would assume that someone ran the feature code again and selected “Yes” on the revert to OEM prompt. It is the ONLY possibility.

Can you give us VIN of the car please?
