He's not too worried about the safe in the cluster, but the hazzard lights are a problem, I'll try the other solutions that poster and report back

i am not sure that you understand what i am writing .... you can synch the remote but will not do anything and you are wasting your time by discovering the hot water ....you need to make a working key NO OTHER WAY.......

Ok, not that I doubt you Loki, just had to find out for myself, any idea what transponder I need to learn to this cluster, I only have carprog so I'll try making a transponder with that

Try rb4 dash and probably audi id48 transponder
Make dealer key and learn with pin code i gave you . I would not trust carprog to write the dash eprom so learn with pin. If you have fvdi v18 that may do it. Hazard lights are because immo off not because unauthorized transponder. Adding key will just remove safe on dash.
