I fully agree with ferrum. Firmware updates won't solve ICOM NOT STARTING AT ALL. It is a hardware issue. Are any LEDs alive when that happens?

When the icom does not start (power via obd is connected and the cabel is plugged in /the config page is not available) its an hardware issure. When the configuration site opens try a fw update.
When he has a original BMW Part , he can send it to Actia and let it repair. (Call Actia and give him the Serial Number to Check)

43x i have this since like 3 frimware updates

i have all leds blinking normaly at 1st plug

to everyone any body have a screenshot of the setting of ISTA regarding the settings to check if we have the same ?

is a way to make an true Hardware reset of all the icom next ?

EDIT: regarding the update to the last version ICOM-Next-04-22-21 if i use an very old ista version the 4.29 it will be not a problem to run this old ista ?

If all LEDs blinking normally, then it's 99% DHCP/network config issue. Are you using ethernet or wireless??? If wireless then what about access point - simulated on computer or real???

im using ethernet cable, i have no any network or internet where im using the icom next


like the led blink green but different blinking when i plug first time and after that when it works. i think all are green  i mean like  is  light... i have to check again to be sure.

The settings you provided here have LEAST impact on your problems. First - look at IPv4 address of your COMPUTER when ICOM works and when it's not working.

There are many ways to do it. You could look at STATUS from network adapters list or type ipconfig /all in command prompt/powershell.

For example (well, you WON'T have 10Gbps on your setup ):

ICOM set up correctly using the configuration tool in ISTA? or nothing changed in the settings...

Forget ista and check in network settings. It will be shown in ista after computer will recognize cable. In network settings you can check when the cable is recognized. It is not ista related.

i have to check the network settings before or after the icom is reconise ?

waiting that my laptop settings are by default mean all automatic i dont put ip or play with dhcp etc... laptop is fully updated drivers/irmware/bios same for windows 10 64bits
