Esys Launcher Coding 2.0
Hello!
Does anybody know whether it is possible to code G07 lci or G70
using Esys launcher?
Does this launcher 5.0 support coding 2.0 or not?
thank you.

RE: Esys Launcher Coding 2.0
From my experience it does not due to missing cafd.

RE: Esys Launcher Coding 2.0
Already discussed quite a few times here on the forum, missing cafd files is one thing, no keys to sign them and the affected units are locked with sort of FSC/SFA code to run even certain arguments with ISTA/tool32. So there is no way atm. Unfortunately..

Check out this one https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=73906

Thanks to NODE btw.

I'm not quite sure what exactly you talking about. You might want to ask your "friends with the US cars" about that.

Maybe I wrote my post not correct, but I know as they updated region and Maps . I don’t have any experience yet , so please “be patient”.

Thanks for explaining anyway

RE: Esys Launcher Coding 2.0
First question is WHAT cars exactly are we talking about. Also secure coding does NOT mean that you can't code it like in AT ALL. You can code it using online ISTA. Just that your coding options are quite limited this way.

G07lci or G70 cars.
i know that somebody can change language and maps so they definitely coding this car. And it seems they find “missing” cafds.
so my question they are using Esys Launcher or another tools?

From another guys:

BMW G07 LCI with iDrive 8 has arrived from the USA to change language. almost all ECU's have the new secure coding 2.0 ( coding 2.0 or Secure coding), and this is what's inside.
the main difficulty is the lack of proper cafd's in PsdZData  and their signature of course

for example CAFD_00006D4E_003_015_013 or CAFD_00006D4E_004_001_009 for DKOMBI8 in 4.39.20 I found no.
Having found the right cafd's, it remains to change the encoding, "sign" the ncd, code and now we have the Russian language available.

You should be able to add another language with ISTA online from AOS or Sgate. But you want be able to code your own NCD's with Esys even if you have the cafd files.
