Hello everyone, a friend of mine bought F12 with Hi Fi sound system. The car is equipped with Active Sound Design, but ASD module is missing. The car is with NBT system, and the problem is there is no sound from multimedia. We still didn't check it with ISTA. Question: Is it possible missing asd module to cause no sound issue?

Of course it's possible. All multimedia audio goes through that box.

You sure module is missing? Maybe just fuse is blown/removed or something.

So coding it out will miraculously re-connect wires? To get sound you could reconnect all wires, no need for coding it out (well, to get rid of faults yes, but NOT to get sound). Or just put another in.

Hi again, we fit another ASD module. Sound is back. Ista show error for wrong coding. We tried to inject cafd file by  "Detect CAF for SWE", but esys 3,40 get PSdz error. I use full psdz data v.4.37.20. Is it possible to find right CAFD file for this ASD? Or to flash asd? Car I step is from 2019.

Check if hwel belongs to that FA or try to flash if hewl remains same after calculating tal

You must flash the ASD with right software for your car series.

Okayy, I think used module came off from f30. Is it will be a problem if flash only asd module with psdz data that I have? Thank yoU!
