Hi,

I am in the process of upgrading the rear lamps for the G07 PRELCI/LCI. Rear lamps require CAFD which is not in the latest psdzdata because they are already coding 2.0 encrypted by bmw. Or does anyone have these 4 cafds for these rear lights?


I am mainly addressing people who could already program G07 LCI online and have cafd downloaded by AOS?

Yes, I connected one lamp on the car for a test and the car saw ecu on the ecu tree without any problems. I don't know if it matters, but before connecting to the car, I coded the RLM TYPE options in BDC to active. But I don't think it had anything to do with the visibility of the lamp driver.

In general, after a deeper analysis, I conclude that even if I could code each lamp, this modernization would fail. G07 LCI has completely changed the control unit system, no longer has BDC as the main module. Now the car is managed by the BCP (basic central platform) module. I suspect that even after coding the rear lamps and throwing them CAFD, they will not have information from the BCP, which is physically not there before <11/2022. I think the topic is closed.
