Hi there,

I bought an china Keyless Entry and Strat/Stop for my w212 from 2012 with EIS FSB3. I should solder some wires from the kit on motherboard of EIS (according to a plan and photos) and in instructions was specified clear DO NOT SPIN THE KEY IN IGNITION, just leavet inside. 
Offcourse i didnt realised that i spined, until it was to late. Now, the car didnt start. I have lights on dash, step 1 and 2 work on ignition, but on step 3, no crank. Everithing worked with new kit, but car not start. I open the EIS box again to see what is happening and i saw that somehow 2 circuits were damaged, probably from the spinning of key. 
I take everithing out and leave it stock, but car still not start.
Now the question:
 - If EIS is damaged, can be readed and copyed for another donnor EIS?
 - EIS must be same partnumber (but stil FSB3)?
 - If EIS is so damaged that can not be readed, is any way to recover the data to write a new IES?

Hi. You need another EIS, same part number, for make renew and copy your Ori EIS data. You need specific tools for that.

what if EIS is damaged and it can not be readed? 
can the info for EIS be recovered from somhere else?

You can make new EIS data by reading Engine module, transmission module or ISM...... but you will have to make new keys since you will not be able to recover the password from EIS.
