Do I understand correctly that if my dashboard does not support version 0212, it will not update when I give it these files in USB or SD and the dashboard will not fail?

Normally it should block it when it is not possible or does not find an update. Newest on 02xx train is 0216/0217

But still be careful because audi is diverting in tsbs the trains like told. There is also a tsb in the folders at mibsolution

On Audi there is sometimes other hardware or other changes that applied to other ecus between modell years especially when they are diverting that a hardware with version 0100 is getting another version 0157 and a version above 0200 is getting a 0215 update. I checked that once against some online diagnostic logs where my2020/2021 vcs starting with 0208/0212.
