Hi. I have a problem with pcr2.1 in seat altea 1.6tdi. After flashing the ecu lost the engine coding (all zeros). I don't want to accept the new encoding. Cruise control, air conditioning not working. i dont have odis or vcp to flash frf file.

If I convert frf -> bin and write kess can it work?
Can it work if I write on bench with ktag?
I will upload a file that I have bin

now you have to tell us what you did and what you want to do...what tool use ...ect ...we don't have crystal ball... so we can try to help you

i wrote file stage1. after cruise control and climatronic did not work. i want to go back to the previous coding but I don't know if this is possible with vcds? step by step? i have kess and ktag. is it any solution to write flash with good coding via kess? or maybe better will be ktag on a bench?
I am looking for the simplest solution to make the cruise control and air conditioning work as before.

hi ...i have here ecu pcr2.1 with NW number:....... and SW number....... i open the ecu unlock it in boot mode, then read it ...here the file from it....and wrote this file.....
so can you check what i did wrong in the file that i wrote ?

i opened ecu, unlock in boot mode, read it (altea ori) and send to guy who remaped it for me (i dont have sure about correct remap). I wrote file back (altea stage1). car started normaly, but AC and cruise controll dont work. start/stop dont work too.

Hello which programmer do you use to read and write the ECU ? Have you tried to rewrite the original file read originally?

this file is total crap, write original file. My guess your tool killed the eprom when unlocking he ecu. Now need eprom/ not flash /from the same ecu and transfer the immo to that eeprom

be sure to buy a head for odis if you are doing a VAG group

only original tool can write "full"
