you can always change NXP with 5017 or 7020 and both are available with crp0 so you can install any update of fw in the future...

I don't know if the heating method of downgrading crp3 to crp0 works on ori, but you can try it...

I meant the NXP chip already loaded with 5017 or 7020, but those are CRP3, so better buy non loaded NXP chip and I can help you programming it with 5017 and 7020 CRP0, and since now we have easy way SD card making it is easy to create SD card...

About ori kess or ktag slaves original that are deactivated because of upgrading to kess v3, you can find those on forums and online stores used for a good price...

Only thing needed is skills for soldering / disoldering... Or even if you can find a socket to solder it to PCB and install the NXP on it it would be even better...

Soldering part is a big NO for me and I am looking in EU for someone that can do that part of this happy story...
