Hello All,
I have just replaced a HU-Entry on a 06/12 build F20 with a same part number HU-Entry build 05/12.
However, the Bluetooth is not working as it should. Researching on the Forum seems to suggest that I need to inject the correct FSC file into the Donor HU.
Where do I get this FSC file from? I cannot retrive it from the old HU, as it is completly 'dead'. Can I request for this file from this forum who offer 'FSC repair Kit or is that kit only for Nav FSC repair?
If I do get this FSC file, how do I inject it into the Donor unit? I do have access to Eys.
Also, would the Vin number in the Donor HU need to change to the Target Vin?

You would need to first clear the FSC codes in the new headunit, here is where the problems start - I do not know of a way to clear the FSC codes from an HU Entry device.

If you can clear them, then you would need the FSC repair pack from BMW to inject into the new HU.

If the replacment HU is older than the actual one , then u just need to change vin on unit and load back fsc from repair pack  send your vin for repair pack
