RE: EPS
hi.
Wanted to know what is the difference between pinion angle and total pinion angle ? It is displayed inside eps/ diagnostic scan .
I have a difference of 1 degree between both angles. I am trying to center the steering wheel after a wheel alignment.

Thanks in advance

EPS check:
Turned on ignition steering warning light does not display the system is Okay.

After performed chassis alignment, you must carry out steering angle sensor adjustment.

Thanks for your response. I looked for SAS under chasis/service functions but there are no service function for this. ( instead there is EPS start up ). My car is a 330 g20 2022. After a pothole ( or various at my loved Buenos Aires !!! ) the steering wheel got  crooked. After wheel alignment, it is centered again but the line departure systems does not points back to  the center line  when correcting departure to the right side. In contrary , when lane departure corrects to the left side , it returns to the center line. I am assuming there is a wrong cero angle error or the car is still misaligned.( thrust angle at rear axle )
In addition I could read in other forums that these vehicles have not SAS and all is managed by the EPS. This is why I am looking to correct the measurement of the pinion angle ( if possible of course and if it is the solution to my problem ).
Finally, and after driving the vehicle this morning in the city, I felt I have to do more effort when turns to the left than to the right.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks

RE: EPS
Needing more power in to an other direction sound to me that there is a serious mechanical failure somewhere.

RE: EPS
Update: today I drove from home to the office and the EPS is totally different. No more different efforts from right to left turns. Could it be the system is auto adjusting/ self learning?

Thanks

RE: EPS
Finally solved, car went to a specialist in wheel alignment and car with no more issues. Very important to leave the car with people well trained and with machines of last generation.
