XZBMW  e83 EWS 4.4 problem
Hello,
I have strange problem with e83 n47, ews 4.4. One day car didn't start, no crank, no errors in diagnostics. In ews real-time parameters: dme wire blocked. Checked wiring everything is ok. Found thread on another forum with similar problem, guy changed ews, it helped. Ordered another ews 4.4, read ori and donor eeprom with vvdi, modified donor eeprom with ews editor, still not crank no start, dme wire blocked and for now i have anti-tampering protection dtc in dde. I've read backup from engine ecu, could someone please take a look at those files? Maybe there is a mistake?

The data is not wrong!

Why didn't you just clone the EWS eep data?

This will not be a software error!

Checked wiring one more time, found blown fuse 50a from fuse box to ignition switch, flashed original eeprom dump to new ews, car starts, problem solved, thanks
