FYI It seems BMW are having some issues with 4.45 - They 'unreleased' it from AOS this week and told people to use 4.43. Unless you absolutely need to upgrade, i would hold off until any found issues are rectified

BMW pushed 4.45, realized that they screwed ISTA Online and backed up to 4.43, but yesterday they pushed 4.45 again and it works fine now

I have no idea where are you getting that. Installed 4.45 from AOS couple days ago (definitely not yesterday). And WHY 4.43??? Because 4.44.xx were available in AOS before...

Also haven't got/seen any instructions not to update or go back to 4.43...

I had 4.43 on previous Saturday and got 4.45 on Sunday but then got 4.43 on ~Wednesday and again 4.45 on ~Friday )) BMW roller coaster

I have version 4.39 and I installed 4.45.10 and without problems, the thing is that it takes up many gigabytes and I have run out of space on my laptop, so I have to buy an external hard drive, but I have it updated.

Dude... you clearly have a completely Broken, jacked up, Fucked up install going on.... you have 5 different versions and 3 languages going on... no wonder you run outta room... you have a standalone ista while trying to use the authentic launcher.... launcherConsole is your only way to update ... if done right you will have version 4.39 for everything except BLP and SDP... follow the guide... 

like this..... i have standalone 4.41.41... BLP / SDP updated to 4.45.21

uninstall and start over only using en-GB (required) and your de-ES (spanish) languages... no need for de-DE
