Proper ISTA installation and update of SDP/BLP
Hello,
I am looking for the proper way of updating ISTA. (SDP/BLP) and what has to be changed in the regfile for ISTA to keep working properly. So if I have the 4.32.15 or 4.39.20 standalone installed, and I want to update SDP/BLP to 4.45.21: - should I use the istalauncher console and update each version manually with it until reaching 4.45.21? - should I just update directly the SDP/BLP in the psdz folder? are the language files are supposed to be updated or SDP/BLP is enough? Until now I have been using the second method from above, with updating directly the SDP/BLP in the psdz folder and updating the regfile with the new version as such: Setting: "SWIData"="4.45.21" But there is something I never found out, which line from the regfile refers to the BLP files? "DataVersion"= or "LogisticBaseVersion"= ? I can't seem to find anywhere a detailed tutorial/instructions on which is which and how to do it the correct way. Thank you in advance! |

After Updating to 4.45 you will need a working License to use ISTA. IP adress in reg files. You can send Sedoy a PM or read his Thread.
