Perhaps a touch screen my not be the best idea..

I've got an 8.8" screen that is not glass - it is from an ex-police car - So I'm trying to work out if there is a way to fit it in the original housing - does anyone have pics of this ?

I have an EBT adapter, but what should I do if I want to change the VIN when changing cars?
Up until now, I had emailed bimmerretorofit and asked for a response.
IIf anyone knows how to change the vin of the adapter, please let me know.

Hello everyone, can someone who has done this job explain how to fit the NBT controller in the factory CIC holder for E60, or is there other way? As i see these do not fit well together. Any ideas are very welcome, thank you.

Dremel tool with a low grit sanding wheel. Sand around the factory cutout until the controller fits in the cutout. Go slow so you do not take off more material than you need to. Then I used metal pipe hanging scrap with the factory screws to secure the controller to the trim.

IMO just keep the original CIC controller.

Got the emulator connected today, did the coding mentioned on carsystems on my bench with zgw2. When i change the gatewaytable to anything other than 8, as they say it should be 5 for climate display, i get black screen on bench. I tried in car too i get black screen no matter what the gatewaytable is. My NBT adapter has a green LED so i guess it is getting power. Because of black screen im thinking can might be the problem here? But i wired all correctly. Also im using ID6 from G30 s its KCAN4, according to carsystems this should be fine, weird thing too, i dont get any lighting neither on my controller or my faceplate. Any thoughts?

0x12F {0xD9,0x50,0x8A,0xDD,0xF4,0x01,0x30,0x01} with gatewaytable table_0 should work.

About the NBT emulator, no idea what's sending.
What controller do you use? ZBE4? F or G series?

Hi, on bench i have an emulator, so i guess its CAS emulated ignition frames. Controller i use ZBE3, but it doesn't even light up neither the faceplate, i can't get a screen at all, only blackscreen no matter what the gatewaytable is set to. On bench gatewaytable 8 works fine, 5 and 7 make it go blackscreen. Any way to monitor the can communication inside the emulator with the usb port on it? It would maybe help see if its getting can comms at all?

Does someone have a picture of their CarSystems NBT adapter, the base one with 10 pins, just to compare the cables with mine, since mine is used and i think someone switched the pins around.
