Hi all,

I'm working on a BCM retrofit in a VW Passat B8. Original BCM was 5Q0937086AK (high version), and I'm swapping it for 5Q0937084EC (mid/base version).

✅ What has already been done:
- Component Protection removed (via GeKo / ODIS)
- IMMO and key matching done
- KESSY and central locking working
- Remote key works, car starts normally
- Adaptations transferred where possible

❌ PROBLEM:
I'm getting a permanent fault in the instrument cluster (address 17), even though all functions seem OK:

> 1 Fault Found: 
> 16777035 - Control module 
> B2001 00 [00001001] - Incorrect software version 
> [BAP_DoorLocking_0x0D - wrong software version] 
> Status: Confirmed - Tested since memory clear

- BCM: 5Q0937084EC
- Car: VW Passat B8 2016
- Anyone had the same issue (B2001 / BAP_DoorLocking)?
- Can this be fїжed via specific adaptations or parameter changes?

HW44 and SW1513 is far beyond 086AK..!

had same problem.. changed door modules for newer

I upgraded to 5q0937084EC SW1513 on my Passat with 791B (flashed to 791D) cluster, without issues..
Door modules are 593E/592E 0041
