CAYC strange problem
hi, i have here a 1,6 TDI with CAYC engine, car when is cold car make lots of smoke and dont have power and injection knocks, after get warm, car can be driven but still knocks a low RPM.
already update sofware, change injectors, change fuel filter but problem remains, anyone already have a similar problem? regards |

Are the injectors new? It depends on how well they've been refurbished. Some cheap brands don't make injectors that work. I bought cheap ones once and had the same problem. Then I bought better ones and the problem was gone.

Not enough air flow in to engine in low rpm range by injected amount of fuel. Clear intake, check turbo and knock sound go away in low rpm range.
Try an another old/new version of FRF because can also be that software strategy give some more fuel to make impression that this motor is strong enough  )

Hi. Try updating the software to see if that helps. Otherwise, when the engine is warm, try calibrating the minimum injector quantity with VCDS. if i help don't forgot = rep + thanks |

You mentioned that the DPF and EGR have been deleted, if you update the software, they will both be switched back on
