hi all,

i have a 2013 golf 7 with faulty dome radar so swapped it with a flat type hw: 5Q0907527G.

the няск has been done and entered swap code 10009001

i have done some coding but i have some errors that i cant get me head around, databus and coding errors.

can anyone help me with the issues i have.

Did you do calibration after change ?
If not, do that first and then try again.
Don't remember if you can do dynamic calibration on 5Q0 radar.

Not done calibration yet, I will try but I would think that would only fix the calibration error and some databus errors but not the 2 coding errors

Calibration won't fїж any of those "databus" DTC-TI as all of them are related to improper parametrization (coding).

Share your current coding.

Best option is to find a auto scan with similar setup in terms of manual/auto and FEC, and use it's long coding.


Also if you only added 10009001 then what about AWV? You also need a 10009203 or 10009204 code for emergency braking.

5Q0907572S is not supported for Golf MY2013. Need to change ABS and door modules also to get it working.

Since this is not about a retrofit but just about a broken unit 0013 obviously that was replaced, replacing other units to get things work is not a solution to go for.

It's not possible to find out if there's a major problem/incompatibility with the control unit used as replacement due to the lack of information here, but at first instance it would make sense to parametrize it properly according to setup by VIN. And then see if there are issues regarding compatiblity.

Or just check upfront if the unit is able to operate here at all but it's not possible to determine with just some screenshots and a part number.
