From what i have seen some flashes receive upgrade and some of them disapear. I think vag has no interest in them anymore this is why i put up all flashes that i could find. Like this you can flash what you like, older newer. .......

So maybe some flash files are superseeded by newer ones. We could then take the latest flash files, and add from older only the ones that are missing but there is one small problem.

I noticed that files that have same name and are in different distributions, might be different when you do byte by byte comparison and that confuses me. Maybe they are the same but compiled at different time and thus this small difference.

I would like to cleanup, because there are lot of duplicates and they take a lot of space...

A little advice,take the oldest ones, and overwrite with newer and so on ...... at one point after you come to the end you will have x files with x versions, and all missing from the most recent. Delete at hand older versions that have different versions and you are at day with all. Do this for each brand in part.

Read txt file and you will see inside. If your clone does not have amb2300 bt chip your interface upgrade will fail. to prevent that use the fix and it will work

It's much quicker to take the latest one and then copy older with option to skip files if found. In that case, you wouldn't have to overwrite most of the files for x times.

But as I mentioned, there are files with exactly the same name but have small differences in file size. I do think they contain the same flash file but are different only in compile date or something like that...

how do you flash the Control Units? Only with ODIS-E or can you flash also with ODIS-S?

for flashing use ODIS E (Odis E 6.2.2 is the newest version, you can not flash frf or odx in this version only sgo ! for frf and odx and sgo you must use a older version 5.0.1.4 and you can all files flash!)
ODIS-E = Engineering (FLASH ECU´S)
ODIS-S = Service (Workshop version)

Attention !!!

You can destroy your ECU´s with flashing if you have a cheap Dongel !!!
Use not a Bluetooth if you Flashing!!!learen

The current and latest Odis-E is 6.2.6..........nod
For to flash full (frf or odx) using Odis-E v6.2.x versions you must have the correct ODX database (projects) that they are compatible with the specific V6.2.x versions m8........hiddentmi
This ODX database that shared all over the web cant be used because it seems is old or mixed and modified..........wondering
