Hi everyone,
I am currently developing a custom real-time telemetry and dїдgиo5тїcs logger for BMW F/G-series vehicles (specifically targeting DME8FF / DME8.x ECU platforms, such as B48/B58/S58 engines).
While we already have the standard ёdїдbд5 / UDS dїдgиo5тїc jobs mapped out, we are expanding our tool to support high-speed live data logging (LRP / RAM logging via DoIP). To achieve direct RAM address polling, we need an A2L (ASAP2) definition file matching the DME8FF_R software architecture.
Why I need this A2L:

• To obtain exact RAM memory addresses (
  32-bit / 64-bit offset addresses) for internal telemetry variables.
  
• To accurately convert raw hex values using the proper scaling formulas (COMPU_METHOD), min/max limits, and data types for custom high-rate logging.
  
• We are not looking to flash or remap; this is purely for dїдgиo5тїc protocol and telemetry system development.
  

Keywords / Internal Variable Names in our Target Software Build: If you have a Damos / ASAM package, the A2L should contain internal variable names such as:

• BMW_pct_CbsAvl, BMW_dst_CbsMilgIntl, BMW_milg_CbsLstOilChg (CBS telemetry)
  
• IVGdiCtl_CvoAdpn_SimErrCyl
  
• U_bcuist, U_bcusoll, I_bcuist, Err_bcu
  
• Eco_i_schwelle, Eco_i_holdoff
  

If anyone has an A2L / DAMOS file for DME8FF_R (or compatible DME861_R / DME831_R / DME840_R builds) and is willing to share, please let me know or send me a PM.

From A2L file—I'm looking just the RAM addresses (ECU_ADDRESS), data types, and conversion formulas (COMPU_METHOD) for the following variables:

Actual Oil Pressure (Öldruck Istwert)

Variable names to search: P_OEL_IST, poel_w, poel_act, p_oel_ist, poel_phy
Need: ECU_ADDRESS, Data Type (e.g., UWORD), and conversion formula/scale factor to hPa or bar.
Target Oil Pressure (Öldruck Sollwert)

Variable names to search: P_OEL_SOLL, poelsoll_w, poel_des, p_oel_soll
Need: ECU_ADDRESS, Data Type, and conversion formula.
Oil Control Valve Duty Cycle (Öldruckventil Ansteuerung / PWM)

Variable names to search: POIL_PWM, poil_pwm, st_oel_pumpe, du_oel_pumpe, pwm_oel_pumpe
Need: ECU_ADDRESS, Data Type, and conversion formula (for % duty cycle).
Oil Pressure Switch State (Öldruckschalter Status)

Variable names to search: LV_POIL_SWI, b_oel_schalter, st_oel_swi
Need: ECU_ADDRESS / bitmask.
Alternatively, if your A2L includes UDS DID mappings (or if you know the 2-byte UDS Data Identifiers used for 5ёяvїcё 0x22), sharing those 2-byte DIDs for P_OEL_IST and POIL_PWM would also be awesome!

Which protocol/5ёяvїcё are you using for the actual RAM acquisition on DME8 – XCP, a BMW-specific UDS routine/read-memory 5ёяvїcё, or a ратснёd logger?

DoIP itself is only the transport, so I'm especially interested in how you're accessing the RAM on an unmodified production DME.

My Initial idea was to access XCP on unpached DME, but so far no success. I have start to think it is not possible.
