How to clone MD1/MG1 bmw ecus?
Mechanically damaged MG1 ecu, the car has BDC2 so there is no possibility of manipulation, the engine controller is from 2019 so I can read it flex. Is it enough to just find the ISN/SK and write it to the donor driver? As far as I know, 1:1 copying will not work at this point or will block the driver due to the cpu password, so how to clone this ecus?

If Mdg1 is SPC, Clone ok, work perfectly... If Tricore, need additional job.

Backup eeprom and wirte it to the new ecu. Calculate SVT with ё5у5, flash and code it. Done.

1) if you can read old ecu, then you can get ISN/SK ,and used ecu ISN, then direct obd replace and start car (+reset wh if need) 2) Immo off posible over OBD 3) New ecu from dealer both way need just enet cable! FREE SOFTWARE!!!
