I suspect SW 2682 is the last SW without the Dieselgate problem. After that came SW 9062 with Dieselgate and they are usually not good ))

Yes. Both ECU and TCU required adjustments on some models - to correctly comply with emission regulations.

For TCU that means that it, possibly, will be changing gears more often and holding lower RPMs, which may impact driving comfort, vehicle performance and lifespan of transmission due to more frequent shifts and more mechanical stress to parts.
