opel astra j 1.4t a14net oil pressure low ???
Hello everyone,
I have a huge problem with an a14net 1.4t engine from 2012. I've recently been getting the error message oil pressure low ???? What I've already done: Replaced the oil pressure sensor. Replaced the OIL PUMP. Removed the oil pan, cleaned the oil strainer. Changed the oil including the filter Measured the oil pressure, completely normal! Now I don't know what to do with this thing anymore ??? Has anyone else had this problem ??? Many thanks. |

And does the ECU and physical gauge show the same oil pressure values?

RE: opel astra j 1.4t a14net oil pressure low ???
OKay, looks like there is no actual pressure data coming back to ECU from the sensor.. only low pressure switch signal.
So you need to check the status of the switch via diag (it should appear as closed - i.e. "low pressure"), and disconnect connector from switch and check with multimeter if the switch itself is giving this "closed" signal (short), or something is shorting inside ECU - need to measure continuity on both sides. I will check later what is mentioned in TIS for normal oil pressure. |
