Hi i have just scanned my mates 2011 vw diesel passat estate but its throwing up more than one error regarding the abs and even one about the radio..3 lights appeared on the dash at the exact same time/abs and 2 others that looked like a steering fault...could anyone please have a look at the vcds log as i dont know where to start looking for this fault on the car.

Was any work done to the car when these errors popped up?

did you try doing key or mileage correction?

the times I have seen the lights you describe pop all at once is when instrument is opened up and eeprom loses abs data.

Hi there thanks for the reply, the only work i am aware of was completed 6 months ago when the car received its mot and a service... i,m thinking i might need to look at the front left abs sensor and hope its dirty or loose..i am able to turn all lights out but they appear straight away when i drive the car.

Ps no key or mileage correction was ever tried by me...car was a year old when my mate bought it in 2012.

Check wheel sensor and use clear all faults funktion, then drive the car little bit and perform auto-scan once again. All faults caused by ABS should be cleared. btw. it's normal to lit ABS/ESP and power steering MIL when you're connected to 03 module
