hi people , i'm working on a manual swapped m3 2002 year  ,  

i've done all the coding to manual in the car , unplugged tcm module -->no errors on dash ,  but the car stays in a sort of a limp mode .
. 
could you provide me a zusb number for the DME to try reflashing it again with a manual software .

is there any point i'm missing in this swap ? thanks for helping

the ZUSB of the DME is identical for SMG and manual DME.

To be sure can you write the ZUSB number of your DME and which country the E46 M3 is from?
You made reset of DME adaption?

no, the software is different. use ETK to determine correct program number.

It seems, that the provided ZSUB numbers are old, because in the E46 files, I cant select them.

So I found this newer ZSUB numbers:

Manual for USA

from 09/2002 7842345 -> 7842979

SMG for USA
up to 09/2002 7842347 -> 7843301
from 09/2002 7842349 -> 7843303

After checking the ETK for E46 M3 ECE LHD, I found the following numbers:

Manual for ECE
up to 03/2005 12 14 7837779
from 03/2005 12 14 7837777

SMG for ECE 
up to 03/2005 12 14 7837797
up to 03/2005 12 14 7837795
from 03/2005 12 14 7837791

But I am not sure, if this is correct - I found two numbers for SMG...

Yes there are supersessions.  I use old version of desktop ETK, but using WINKFP you can check what the latest software version is.
