I think is because vcm2 isn't validated to consult 3 plus, not like as Alliance VI2 and actia, so not only can't show live data, car vin and other feature also, limited function. I have tested under vcm2 for nissan xtrail 2015 and 2016.

Yes, it works with Actia passthru.
