Hi all having some trouble with gid screen from a Astra H.

does anyone have a epprom dump i can try, i think this one is corrupt as it doesn't ask for new security code when programming.

Here you go mate.

Don't forget to check how your programmer reads (look at vin number in dump) and swap bytes before programming this one if need-be.

My programmer reads c66 16bit with vin as normal like W0L....... But yours may read it with swapped bytes so vin shows in dump as W.L0......

This Display is married to the car, DO NOT use another dump unless it's an "Unregister" dump or your car will have problems..., not just Radio.
Post Original dump and we can see what is your problem
Or use OBDII tool to fix it...

The VIN needs putting in the Display for it to work.

Alriye I can manage that bit mate, will I then be able to deactivated theft protection or will I have to write code in myself as well.

The dump looks healthy with 2643 as it's code, it's just missing the VIN.
If you add the VIN to the dump it should be ok...

OK mate thanks il give it ago later and report back, the problem is when recoding to car and radio tech 2 doesn't ask me for the new code just goes ahead and uses the original, never had this happen before normally asked for new code and goes strait in job done.
