Can someone check if this has tprot or not. its 2009 jetta tdi cbea US version. Its from 04/09.
Can read it with kess via obd but Iam not sure if I can write it back via obd,

You play with fire..use boot mode every time for edc17

M8, you will not see tprot in partial reading, even in full read some times is not visible but exist.
Seeing your sw number I will say yes it´s tprotected one.
Don´t play fire, only boot solution recommended.
