MIB3-OI retrofit instead of MIB2
Did anybody make a succesful retrofit of MIB3-OI to a MQB based car originally with MIB2 and OCU unit?
The problem is that I have the 5NA OCU unit with Emergency call and this has to be working properly because without it the car will not be roadworthy. In the past I tried the MIB3-OI with a new 5WA OCU unit, but I couldn't get it working properly (SOS malfunction). So I'm thinking of using a 3V0035832 unit which has a GPS connector, so I could use the original GPS antenna and the current 5NA OCU. Do somebody have experience with such a retrofit? Thanks in advance! |
