mdi manager 8.1.135 same on mdi unit tech2win 137.00 just downgraded from 175.00.

had to recover unit to get WiFi working tech2win now connects to mdi on home network but in car I can't connect to any ecu.

Did you open the MDI Manager software and revocer your MDI when your swapping MDI Versions

i tried 8.1.135.13 with a clone mdi and it worked but my software kept losing license so i went back to mdi software 8.0.73.14 or something like that and it worked great , no problems at all.

RE: Setting up gm mdi
Mate let you understand well
Opel-vauxhall v175.00 I can use it with many Tech2Win versions.
Tech2Win version are v1.601, v1.804, v2.302 ( I mention only this one because of corse there other too )
If you use button "Help" you will see the version of Tech2Win
For instance: Tech2Win v1.804 its working in XP but v2.302 is not. Only in in W7
Another. Tech2Win v1.804 it dosen't cover Isuzu but Tech2Win v2.302 is cover
Opel-Vauxhall v175.000 or v176.000 or v177.000 ( that I'm using ) are PCMCIA card version for Tech2Win
I hope you understand now the difference and about I'm talking about.
You also its better to use your GMMDI with the right MDI Manager verstion that was released for the Tech2Win version or GDS2 version that you are using.
Good luck

RE: Setting up gm mdi
GlobalTis v32 you can use it for SPS or to release the Tech2Win
But GDS2 v14 will cannot release it
Tech2Win PCMCIA cards are shared in this forum any in other.
To be able to release the GDS2 using GlobalTis v32 you need to install the GDS2 version using GlobalTis v32
All the other version only by Tis2Web
Well as I know there is solution to modify the GDS2 and no need to release it everytime but I do not have this solution
Good luck
