Hello everyone,

Some time ago,my car was lightly rear ended and after the bumper got repaired ( not exchanged/swapped ) my side assist did not work anymore.

Relevant info:
- before and after the crash, side assist(blind spot monitoring) kept working
- only after the bumper was repaired and reinstalled, the side assist didn't work anymore

Things I have already tried:
- taking it to a vw dealership: inconsistent answer, they initially said that it was teh bumper that had filler, but they did not want to guarantee that getting a new bumper would solve the issue
- poking around with vcds to see if the error can be removed ( and if the hardware is accessible) : error stays persistent, but the hardware is present

The above are what i have already did, currently I have bought a red vnci to use odis 5ёяvїcё and I really want to get to the bottom of this, but I need some pointers in what steps tot take.
The radars have not been physically damaged, software wise they have also not been tempered with by any third party ( only vw ) and they came with the car, no retrofit.
So did any one had this issue before, and if so, what steps did you follow to solve this one out?

They tried to calibrate using doppler device? If modules are ok and correct installed then a basic settings should solve your problem.
