Hello all, sort of a long story but I'll try my best to summarize.

Problem : Black Screen ( was working prior to some monkeying with autologic )

Original Unit in car : MMI 3G
Installed : MMI 3G+ /w control panel

Attempted to remove Component Protection with autologic, day after there no longer was an image being displayed on the screen. Re-installed original MMI and everything works as it is suppose to.

Went to the dealer and had CP removed and SVM fix applied

SYMPTOMS:
- No codes in VCDS
- MMI unit has lights and power.
- When I look at the unit the fan on the left isn't spinning.
- Hit 3-button reset and the fan starts for a second and then quits.
- If I push the input buttons on the control panel I can see the unit cycling on my speedo/dash cluster. ( i.e. radio, media, etc... )
- Cell phone BT connection works.
- There is audio now, just no image.

Any thoughts?

It sounds like a problem with the screen itself.
