bmw f10 pre lci most retrofit nbt evo carsystems fxx most adapter
Hello,
I have the following adapter from carsystems.ua: BMW Fxx MOST NBT/EVO F Series Retrofit Adapter (no ZGW change) I contacted Carsystems support via Telegram regarding this. They told me to read through the PDF installation guide—apparently, that is all the information they have as well. However, the document contains absolutely nothing regarding coding for the NBT unit... I am convinced that the NBT definitely needs to be coded in order to function correctly with this adapter. The support team is completely unhelpful and clearly has no clue what they are talking about themselves... I am looking to install an NBT EVO ID4 HW2.3 unit into a 2010 BMW F10 (pre-LCI) equipped with a MOST system. The vehicle currently has a ZGW module with a MOST interface. What specific coding changes need to be applied to the NBT EVO unit to ensure it works properly with this emulator? The MOST bus needs to be астїvатёd within the NBT EVO—specifically by setting the `MOST_EXTERNAL` parameter to `aktiv` (active), correct? And what about the Gateway Table? My F10 does not currently have a navigation system installed; it only has a basic CHAMP CD radio unit. Which option parameters need to be added to the vehicle's FA (Vehicle Order) now? Is it just Option Code 609, or is there something else required as well? Best regards |

RE: bmw f10 pre lci most retrofit nbt evo carsystems fxx most adapter
they usually have the minimum coding list for the NBT and NBT EVO at the end of the user manual .
if you follow this list , you will get your evo to work. They don't provide coding support as it is not their job , adapter is compatible with different cars and model and they can't provide a coding support for all models . The only big difference in your case , is that you will not see the headunit and the Cluster when you connect i5тд or ё5у5 to the car via the ZGW , you will have to connect to the IP of the headunit in order to access and be able to code the headunit . |

nbt evo has to be coded right, so that it can function with their adapter.
and that is carsystems job to provide proper information.... emulator costs 500€ so minimum help can be expected.. |

On their website I found this: "No car software and hardware modifications needed (works with original рдят5 – ZGW, CAS, etc.)" Option 609 is right....did BMW delivered any F10 with NBT Evo ID4? I am not sure, I think they stopped here with "normal" NBT. .:: Thanks+Rep doesn´t kill anybody

That's true , no modifications needed , means you don't need to replace ZGW1 with ZGW2 and other LCI modules to get NBT EVO to work . F10 never seen ID4 , the LCI model of F10 came with NBT1 , Pre-LCI had CIC . |
