I have an Audi S5 @2011. Has tried to upgrade MMI 3G High, SW is OK, not the maps....

The original SW Version was:
MMI: HNav_EU_P0029_D1
NAV: 8R0060884R ECE 5.11.7

After upgrade:
MMI: HNav_EU_K0257_6_D1
NAV: 8R0060884R ECE 5.11.7

The 6.22.4 Map version can not be installed, see pictures.

Error: A variant conflict occured! MainUnit variant: 9307. Release info variant: 9411 9408 9409 9410 9498 9499 9425 9436.

Only changes made before the upgrade is that I've switched radio unit from 4F0035061 to 4G0035061 to get DAB +

There must be something wrong with your map files, as 6.22.4 is for both 3g high and 3g+, check metainfo2 file:

Is this metainfo2 file from folder MMI3GP and you missing folder MMI3G which contains different metainfo2 file? How big is your unpacked map folder in total, size on disk:29,1 GB (31 277 588 480 bytes), 69 files and 33 folders?

Yep, if you not using winrar, i recommend to use. Strange you missing like 3 files, but you have 1 more folder compared with my data

Problem solved, thanks for help.

Unzip the files again, had to remove som files due to lack of space on the 32GB SD card (64GB card didn't work).

My car has MMI 3G High so i removed those belonging MMI 3G P:

Apologies in advance for what may seem a dumb set of questions, but I do not want to brick my car!

I recently purchased a second hand Audi S7 in the UK, where I live. It was built in October 2013 and first registered in Jan 2014. I am interested in upgrading the MMI firmware and maps, but have been quoted lots of money by Audi to do either!

My MMI says the versions are: -

Media = HN+R_EU_AU_P0660
Nav. database = 8R0060884BC ECE 6.16.3

I believe this means I have a 3G+ with a hard disk/jukebox.

Where do I start please? Are there "how to" guides that are simple enough for a 50-year old please?
