I would like to update my HN+ (MMI 3GP).

My MAC address is 001cd7378079.

The html sheet gives me the xcode : 380080

001cd7 / 378079

17 + 3780 = 3797

3797+1984 = 5781

For correct calculation add that just first 4 digits from second part

- Which file can i remove from my SanDisk 32Go to be able to fit the complete map for my HN+.

You only need a good sd / micro card - SanDisk

It seems that this xcode is NOT the good one.
The log file in the SDcard says : Not activated.

But if i used, 378079+17+1974=380080.
The log file in the Sd card, says Activation Success !


However, i've currently always an issue. The MAP file seems not correctly installed (does not appear in the version panel).
When i select NAV in the menu, it says, init on goin and stay on this panel

All others module works : RADIO etc ...

The FW900 is installed.

Any clue ?

I imagine my map is corrupted (onto my SD Card). Is there any person that can share the SHA of the map ? Or the correct size of the MAP (properties in windows) that i can compare with mine ...

My map size after extracted: 31 277 549 004 bytes
Your previous map activated with carson patch?
Nav database and partition deleted?
Try user define mode update and update all map files again.
I'm very happy with new map. All works on both my MMI, have not any dtc.

Finally, it woks fine NOW !!!!

I use the User Defined Update (need to activate it using the menu SWDL in the hidden green menu).
Then i reinstall one MMI3G_ECE that appears with a ?

after activation by xcode wlan - great

It is invalid key error - it erases the Script which is in an earlier post (I saw that in engineering, there's no key map works)

map and google earth and Audi connect works

does not work traffic online

but the fact is the worst does not work normally TMC

They no longer speak of traffic online but to get it working normally even TMC

Is there a some medicine ?

Navi is converted from us to eu while the radio unit is changed to the new, European radio unit with dab

I read every page in this post and some others. I read the user guide a few times (very professional - great job)

My question is will this process work in the US? I assume the maps are by region - so I need a US map. But is there anything else holding me back?

How do I know what region the map is for?

YES. After the upgrade stopped working at all TMC (change radio unit is Europe , the navi upgrade from us to eu)
By a hundredth of a second'm trying illuminate but all the time it is dark logo TMC
However, in other European car after the update simply TMC runs
all we have done as in the first post
I think that someone is able to do simple TMC or Traffic Online and I'll be happy

Replace (planted) two new navi unit and the same problem does not have a tmc

So the problem is probably in the radio unit?

Coding radio unit is good but may need to change the data in one channel adaptive?
