Change the serial number is durable even after changing the firmware?

It`s only change serial number in the test mode web server, but in vci II menager is the same old one serial 31605352.

I got it.

2 years ago I used this method and changed SN ok.
But I am trying now with another VCM2 and like you, It doesn't work. It doesn't even change inside the 192.168.171.2, you change it, and submit the change, but the next page always shows old blacklisted SN.

Maybe it cannot be done now on VCM's bought lately??

Doesn't even change anywhere. Not even inside 192.168.171.2 browser.
