Need help on insignia ecu edc17c59 ??
Hi I have a 2015 insignia 2.0cdti 140bhp.
Its still under warranty so ive bought an identical donor ecu (EDC17C59) to play around with. For the job, I own mdi tech3 (i know there's no use for it but its there) Kess v2.15 Fvdi opel Xprog 5.55 And bdm adapters Im looking to buy K-tag Edc17 bdm adapter And anything else recommended.. Can this ecu be remapped? I also need to know if there is a possible way to immo off And anything info on the mileage status. Ktag clone will not do this ecu
Power Tuning, ECO Tuning, DPF OFF, EGR OFF, ADBLUE OFF, Lambda OFF, Flaps OFF Cars, Buses, Trucks, Tractors, Bikes, Boats |

To read full ECU you'll need to use bdm bench so...you'll need to open original ecu. It does not make sens to do it it you want to keep warranty.

As I understood Uo want to clone your original ECU and make a tuning on cloned ECU and keep original just for service visiting?
I dont know any method to clone eprom without opening ECU only bdm or desoldering and programmator. |

I heard its virtually impossible to clone the ecu, the new tricore ecu's use OTP (one time programming) memory for the pairing(assuming its the vin code and immobiliser). But immo off is available as mentioned above
