edit: extract twice and rename your choosen firmware_Vx.x.x.com to appli.com

Usually firmware updates are delivered by PSA in "C:\AWRoot\dtrd\firmware\appli.com". I have 4.3.4, but that's because I keep whatever possible as is when I compile my updates.
Also, you will find few APPLI.COM files here "C:\APPLIC\LEXIA\MajAppCom\APPLI software\xxxxx.com".

I noticed that Maitresox has disabled the Firmware Auto Update when you start DiagBox after connecting and recognizing the device. Probably to avoid failures or blocking!! In any case, if you are using one version, it isn't really needed. Because you will use the checker to know which version do you have, and you may use the checker to update to what ever version you want...

I have packaged DiagBox v8 Engines to replace v7, this way nearly everything has been updated to Diagbox 8 (the old engines running Java 6 and the new are on Java 7)...

I have just managed to install DiagBox 8.01 using DiagBox 7.01 profile... It was not difficult, if a little lengthy process. It seems to be running fine, I need to test updates and if all is well, I may write the process sometime in the future..

I don't know, but I would expect that DiagBox can diagnose all PSA cars. However, as far as I remember, there is another cable or module for some cars..
The latest update is 8.19 => 7.83.. Check attachment.

Dear Simple. how can I start to install Diagbox versions? I was using Mr. Scarymistake's versions and as you know it first starts with v.7.01 and after shutting and restarting Diagbox it automatically takes to v.7.02.

Here on this point (when v.7.02) I shutted the Diagbox and installed Mr. Maitresox's first update (it was v.7.01 to v.7.57 as I remember) but after update was finished, my Diagbox didn't work good and I couldnt connect to the cars. So where is my wrong at this point? Can you please explain the installation one by one?

Me I installed Mr. scary's 7.01 -restart-7.02
Copy the APPDIAG in other place ( maybe you need it to replace it )
Installed 7.57 Mr. scary's updates
Then all Mr. Maitresox's upgrades and in the last Mr. Simple's upgrade

If you download Update 7.xx-7.57 for Scarymistake and Maitresox you will find there is a 100mb difference in size.. After expansion, both are the same size.. But I face issues of files not extracted properly (on some systems) when using Maitresox's. This is not Maitresox's fault, but something to do with compression. So, use Scarymistake's 7.xx-7.57 then continue with Maitresox.

Having said that, if you are not using Windows XP, ensure you have DiagBox in Win XP SP3 compatibility mode. Also, install .NET 3.5 and run DiagBox as Administrator..

Sorry dear, I think I am really unaware of the subject well, what do you mean by copying APPDIAG in other place? Cutting and removing it? If so, should I again put it to original place? If yes, at which point?
