Hi

I have two problems with dashboard from E38 750i 96'

1. missing pixels on lcd
   
2. broken diagnostic line, details below
   

i have disassembled dashboard and tried to fix pixels, now i want to check this on bench without connecting to car
i use this wiring diagrams, but unfortunately this is for different engine

there are some differences, for example pin 16 from socket x16 is missing
could you tell me which pins i have to connect to check pixels on bench?

second problem
if dashboard is connected to car i can't connect to modules like ABS/Airbag etc
after connecting voltage on pin 20 in diagnostic port under the hood is 0v
when dashboard is not connected voltage is about 12v and diagnostic works

other things like ibus works
any thoughts how to fix this ?

today i have bought IKE from E39, not full dashboard only back electronics
didn't have much time, so i checked only that it works and dont't break diagnostics

what do i have to copy from old IKE and how can i do that?
i have INPA/DIS, general purpose programmer (like Willem) and probably i could borrow PASoft

Don't save and copy the coding with PA Soft unless the dash is the same model and software.
You can look at general settings, engine type, transmission etc

INPA cable and NCS Expert will recode the dash.
Make sure you start NCS Expert by reading the VO/FA from the EWS to get the true car coding, not from the replacment dash.

Hello again

I have copied ZCS information from EWS to IKE
Fixed 7 VIN digits in IKE
Fixed odometer in IKE
Code IKE: 12 cylinders, steptronic. I don't know what should i set in "Engine Factor" : "3 impule/revolution " or "4 impulse/revolution" ?
What is ADFG in IKE ? It is set to FFFFFFF.

Now everything is OK except i cannot connect to DME! This is the only module that doesn't work.
Any ideas what can be wrong ?
