Vectra c 1.8 mixmatch ecu problems
Called out today to look at vectra had ecu's replaced but not all of them, garage had changed the rec, uec, ecu, cim, clocks, so problem was bcm and door moduels reprogrammed these to match new kit but key was wrong and wouldn't work so swapped back cim and treid old key still not woke just get invalid transponder on tech2, so car need new key to make work.

just thought id share my sunday.

did you try reset everything then try code old key ?

Yer sim had to be reset as it wouldn't program to the new ecu with the old code they made a balls up of it and fucked about on opcom to sort it but then asked me to do it iv had to order a new key I didn't have one is stock.

every things coded back to the car now just won't code the key in so going back one morning to finish if off.

Yer it is mate don't mix ecu kits, I can only assume the bcm was causing the problem with the keys iv done door modules loads of time and not had problems, il pop back down this week when bits are here.
