RE: BMW ISTA-D 3.54.11 Standalone (Base Installation without bases)
Thanks Max!
I finally tested the coding functionality using psdzdata v.58.0. Successfully upgraded 8 modules using only this build of ISTA, to latest March 2016 i-step level. Comfort mode programming failed at one point and I had to manually complete several of the procedures from the measures plan, including DME encoding, but this was most likely due to battery voltage falling below 13v, i was using a jump from a running car, but still fell near the end of the execution of the measures plan. Car runs fine, no issues, only remaining fault is a bogus informational code in the IHKA. If this post helped you in anyway please use the thanks and/or REP buttons down here. Thanks!

Is there a specific feature/improvement you wanted to have, Or just to have the latest? So from your attempt, it's clear that one definitely needs a PSU w a current rating at least 1.5x the battery amps capacity. |

RE: BMW ISTA-D 3.54.11 Standalone (Base Installation without bases)
I'm catching up after a long break and would appreciate confirmation of whether the following installation procedure is correct
For a complete NEW install of this ISTA-D 3.54.11(with NO previous installation of ISTA-D), onto Win7 x64, 1. Prepare Windows system as described in the following thread's 1st post: http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=13812 2. Initiate installation by executing: 'BMW_ISPI_ISTA-APP_3.54.11.15979.msi' http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=13546 Correct? |
