Firmware:
There are three updates for your hardware index C and D. Check your version in the menu before updating. 16.11.2000 is the recommended update, the others may cause problems.

- 16.11.2000 (standard)
- 01.06.2001 (G/Speller)
- 22.03.2002 (DSP)

I tried to copy to my pc from sd card and its successful.
Only copy/paste.

If anybody have v6 (2016), pls try to copy.

Hi there I have tried to update my mfd from v2 to the current Bosch/ Tom Tom software bought from ford , but cannot get it to run , it says it's updating and installing but when it reboots the old firmware and v2 are still there but still works fine with the new card in the sd slot . Is there any way I can delete the v2 software from memory and do a fresh install , using the engineers menu there is no option to do this or do I have to pay ford to update the firmware
