Cant get this to work... Upgraded from 3.52.32 to this, and got error "please make sure your ista configuration is valid" "failed to start ista".
I have edited the dataversion in the registry, and c++ is installed and .net.

3.52 worked great. Any pointers? Hope im not asking the same question all over again, i read a few other threads on here about this problem, but none of the solutions posted worked for me.

you have all DB? unlock?
and disable 2 puk entry in istagui.config

This usually means you have wrong configuration in istagui.exe.config file which isn't doesn't recognize.
Make sure there's is no typos or extra characters if you modified it.

Yes i think so. See attached pic. puk is off.



   

   

edit: apprantly solved it selv. opened istagui.config put puk to true, saved, put in false, saved again. works...
and yes, i did check to see if "false" was spelled correctly at first. Maybe it was something else.

edit2: and now there is the eror "version xxx of ista has not been released." cant remmeber that there was this much trouble with setting up the old version. might be something i forgot though.

this version have same problems for "FREE" users as 3.53
in REGEDIT, in productversion put "ProductVersion"="R3.54.30.16182"(add just R for example)
open istad in error popup just clic in "X" in cross for close after is possible work with istad, with know error, in basic features
